Shirley is the law firm's in-house bookkeeper and payroll clerk, in addition to her responsibilities as an Estate Planning paralegal. Before becoming semi-retired, she enjoyed an accounting and secretarial career spanning four decades. She earned her Certified Professional Secretary and Certified Legal Secretary designations in 1984 and 1986, respectively. Shirley worked 8 years for H&R Block as a Tax-Pro. She also has the unique privilege of being Emma's mother. |

Don has served as the Records Custodian for the Firm for nearly a decade, supervising organizational storage of all client materials and documentation, facilitating the firm's implementation of a eco-friendly paperless storage format, and personally overseeing assimilation of all client legal documents. Other than Emma, Don is the longest serving employee of the Law Office of Emma Hemness PA. |

Adel is a native of Tampa, working in the region as a Legal Assistant for 11 years in Corporate and Family Law. She is bilingual, speaking fluent English and Spanish, and has lived in Brandon for 14 years with her three daughters, Victoria, Gabriella and Yasmine. Adel was welcomed to the firm in March 2011 as Emma's personal assistant. In this role, she manages Emma's professional calendar and client matters. Adel also serves as Emma's estate planning legal assistant, preparing drafts and overseeing the execution of the client's legal documents. She also serves as the primary contact for elder law attorneys interested in utilizing the comprehensive services of Elder Planning Income Concepts, LLC. |
